Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
FDA-approved. Physician-supervised. Proven to accelerate healing when your body needs it most.
What Is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy?
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) delivers 100% pure oxygen to your body inside a pressurized chamber. This dramatically increases the oxygen levels in your blood and tissues — giving your body the fuel it needs to heal wounds, fight infection, and repair damage that ordinary treatment cannot reach.
At RevitalizeMe, every treatment is performed in an FDA-approved Sechrist hard acrylic chamber under direct physician supervision. Because when it comes to your health, you deserve the highest standard of care — not shortcuts.
How HBOT Heals Your Body
There is a reason leading medical centers around the world rely on HBOT. Here is what happens inside the chamber.
Supercharges Oxygen
Increases tissue oxygenation up to 15 times normal levels, reaching areas with compromised blood flow.
Fights Infection
Strengthens your immune response and enhances the effectiveness of antibiotics against resistant bacteria.
Reduces Inflammation
Decreases swelling and tissue damage, creating the right environment for your body to begin repairing itself.
Grows New Blood Vessels
Promotes angiogenesis — the formation of new blood vessels — restoring circulation to damaged tissue.
Conditions Covered by Medicare & Most Insurance
These 15 indications are approved under CMS National Coverage Determination 20.29 and covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most major private insurance plans.
Diabetic Foot Ulcers
Diabetes can quietly destroy circulation in your feet, turning a small wound into a serious threat. HBOT floods oxygen-starved tissue to promote healing and help prevent amputation — because no one should lose a limb to a wound that could have been treated.
Learn more →Chronic Refractory Osteomyelitis
When a bone infection resists standard antibiotics and surgery, HBOT delivers concentrated oxygen deep into bone tissue — enhancing your immune response and giving antibiotics the boost they need to finally work.
Learn more →Soft Tissue Radionecrosis
Radiation therapy saves lives, but it can leave lasting damage to surrounding soft tissue. HBOT stimulates new blood vessel growth in radiation-damaged areas, restoring circulation and helping tissue heal from the inside out.
Learn more →Osteoradionecrosis
When radiation damages bone — most commonly in the jaw after head and neck cancer treatment — HBOT promotes new blood vessel formation and bone repair, helping patients avoid further surgical intervention.
Learn more →Radiation Cystitis
Radiation injury to the bladder can cause chronic pain, bleeding, and reduced quality of life. HBOT helps regenerate damaged bladder tissue by promoting angiogenesis and reducing inflammation where it matters most.
Learn more →Radiation Proctitis
Radiation injury to the rectum after pelvic cancer treatment can cause persistent bleeding and discomfort. HBOT delivers the oxygen needed to rebuild damaged rectal tissue and restore your comfort and daily life.
Learn more →Compromised Skin Grafts & Flaps
After reconstructive surgery, grafts and flaps need robust blood flow to survive. When that blood supply is at risk, HBOT provides the oxygen boost that can mean the difference between a successful graft and a failed one.
Learn more →Crush Injuries & Acute Traumatic Ischemia
Severe trauma can cut off blood flow to injured tissue, threatening limbs and lives. HBOT rapidly delivers oxygen to ischemic areas, reducing swelling, preventing tissue death, and supporting surgical repair.
Learn more →Necrotizing Soft Tissue Infections
These aggressive, fast-spreading infections — including Fournier's gangrene — require urgent action. HBOT works alongside surgery and antibiotics to halt tissue destruction, kill anaerobic bacteria, and support your body's fight for recovery.
Learn more →Gas Gangrene
Clostridial gas gangrene is a life-threatening emergency. HBOT directly inhibits the toxin-producing bacteria responsible, while enhancing the effectiveness of surgical and antibiotic treatment.
Learn more →Carbon Monoxide Poisoning
Carbon monoxide binds to your blood cells 200 times more effectively than oxygen, starving your brain and organs. HBOT rapidly displaces CO from your hemoglobin, restoring oxygen delivery and reducing the risk of lasting neurological damage.
Learn more →Air or Gas Embolism
When gas bubbles enter the bloodstream, they can block circulation to vital organs. HBOT compresses these bubbles and restores normal blood flow — often the only effective treatment for this potentially fatal condition.
Learn more →Decompression Sickness
Known as "the bends," decompression sickness occurs when dissolved gases form bubbles in the body after rapid pressure changes. HBOT is the definitive treatment — recompressing and eliminating gas bubbles while restoring oxygen to affected tissues.
Learn more →Severe Anemia
When blood transfusion is not an option — due to medical or personal reasons — HBOT provides a lifeline by dissolving oxygen directly into your blood plasma, keeping your organs alive and functioning until your body can recover.
Learn more →Acute Thermal Burns
Serious burns destroy tissue and compromise blood flow to surrounding areas. HBOT reduces swelling, fights infection in burned tissue, and helps preserve viable tissue that might otherwise be lost — supporting faster, more complete recovery.
Learn more →Additional UHMS-Recognized Indications
The Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society recognizes these conditions as appropriate for HBOT based on peer-reviewed clinical evidence.
Central Retinal Artery Occlusion (CRAO)
A sudden blockage in the artery supplying your retina can cause rapid, painless vision loss. When treated early, HBOT can deliver oxygen to the starved retinal tissue and may help preserve vision that would otherwise be permanently lost.
Learn more →Enhancement of Healing in Selected Problem Wounds
Some chronic wounds simply refuse to heal despite standard care. HBOT can provide the extra oxygen these stubborn wounds need to restart the healing process — especially when underlying vascular disease or other complicating factors are involved.
Learn more →Avascular Necrosis (Aseptic Osteonecrosis)
When bone tissue dies due to lost blood supply — often in the hip, knee, or shoulder — HBOT stimulates new blood vessel growth and may help slow or halt bone deterioration, potentially avoiding joint replacement surgery.
Learn more →Sudden Sensorineural Hearing Loss (ISSHL)
Unexplained sudden hearing loss requires fast action. HBOT increases oxygen delivery to the delicate structures of the inner ear, and clinical evidence shows it can improve hearing outcomes — especially when started within the first two weeks.
Learn more →Intracranial Abscess
A brain abscess is a serious, life-threatening condition. HBOT enhances antibiotic penetration into the abscess, reduces brain swelling, and supports the immune system in fighting infection in this critical area.

What to Expect
Your comfort and confidence matter to us. Here is what a typical HBOT experience looks like.
Consultation & Evaluation
We review your medical history, discuss your condition, and determine if HBOT is right for you. We coordinate with your referring physician every step of the way.
Your Treatment Session
You relax inside an FDA-approved Sechrist chamber for approximately 90 minutes at treatment pressure. You can watch TV, listen to music, or simply rest. Our team monitors you the entire time.
Your Treatment Plan
A typical course of treatment involves 20 to 40 sessions, depending on your condition. We track your progress closely and keep your physician informed with regular updates.
Insurance & Coverage
HBOT for approved medical indications is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most major private insurance plans. Our team handles insurance verification and prior authorization so you can focus on healing — not paperwork.
